Well, a couple of weeks ago I was nominated for several different blogging awards by Mo Jo at momentumofjoy.com. Some major “rules” were broken with the handing out of these awards, which was pretty awesome. I had said that I didn’t mind breaking these kinds of rules and I would pass that on. After thinking about it I decided check out what all of these “rules” are. Most of these awards ask you to give away Seven random facts about yourself. I counted and came up with 21 facts. I decided to do 21 random questions instead. Here you go.
What is your favorite pizza topping? Pizza without cheese is no pizza for me.
Name one thing you worry about running out of. Ideas. How lame would this blog be if it were just stuff like “Today I ate a ham sandwich”?
What is the wallpaper on your cellphone of? It’s a groovy futuristic looking thing that does stuff.
How many pairs of jeans do you own? Oh, only about 10 or 12. How many fit is a different story.
Have you ever ridden in an ambulance? Nope, knock on wood.
On a scale of 1-5, how organized are you? A 2.
What was the best movie you saw last year? Warrior. That was easy.
Do you ever count your steps when you walk? No, too busy thinking about not tripping.
Who is your favorite author? Stephen King. That was easy too.
Do you have any scars? Yeah, but nothing major. A few on my hands and fingers. I’m not very good at washing dishes.
Would you rather watch a movie at home or at the theater? If it’s a good movie it doesn’t really matter.
If you could only see black and white except for one color, what color? Red, those are always the neatest looking pictures.
If you could hire someone to do one thing for you all the time, what would it be? Answer blogging questions.
Do you collect anything? If so, what and how long have you been collecting? DVD’s, for about 13 years.
Name a few of your guilty pleasures. Coca Cola (the leaded kind) Ben and Jerry’s (doesn’t matter what kind)
Scary movies or happy endings? Happy endings are usually happier so I’ll go with that one.
Do you watch reality TV? Only if I have to. What is “real” anymore anyway?
Would you ever go skydiving (or have you been)? No Sir/Ma’am!!!
Have you ever seen a ghost? I don’t think so.
Are you superstitious? Not really. The last mirror I broke was about 6 and half years ago, so I should be alright.
Seen anything weird lately? On the Yahoo! ticker there was a story that stated “Australian man gets bitten in half by shark.” It was very hard not to click on that, and very sad too.
Tell us something about the person who nominated you. This is one rule that I don’t mind following. Mo Jo hands out more “Love and Light” than any other blogger I’ve seen. I don’t think it’s a coincidence that the word that is used when you are self-confident or have high self-esteem is that you are said to have “mojo”. She likes to call me Eeyore, which is more fitting than she even knows. I’ve had people call me this for several years now. A few months ago I received the Sunshine Award, from Mo Jo. This means that every single award I’ve gotten has come from her. As soon as I’m able to create my award you can bet she will be the first one to receive it.
Now, it’s time to start handing out these things to fellow bloggers. First I want to start with the Reader’s Appreciations Award. This is supposed to go to the top six commentors on this blog, and I want to say that I will be giving them all the other awards also. These bloggers/commentors are;
GlowWorm at http://marvelouspigs.blogspot.com/
Grandpa Chet at I don’t know. He is a top commentor, but I have never seen anything that he has written. Let us know about this Gramps.
Thrifty Shoppers Monett at http://thriftyshoppersmonett.com/
Momentum Of Joy Sorry, I can’t break this one.
Titillating Thoughts at http://titillatingthoughts.wordpress.com/
A Gripping Life at http://agrippinglife.wordpress.com/
Madame Weebles at http://fearnoweebles.wordpress.com/
My counter only goes to six, and I of course am at the top. The last two I had to guess, but I think I did a good job anyway. So, I’m supposed to pick about nine more bloggers. Lets see what I can come up with.
Veggiewitch at http://veggiewitch.wordpress.com/. She went on a “liking” spree the other day. Thank you so much for that. And talk about vegetarian food that actually looks good, holy geeze.
Auntie Saundee at http://1800ukillme.wordpress.com/. This is what Le Clown calls you, so I hope it’s alright that I do the same. Hey, I got a secret. You know that person that bought your book yesterday? That was me. It may take me a week, but I’m looking forward to getting into it.
Human In Recovery at http://humaninrecovery.wordpress.com/. In the process of becoming “happy” again she’s managed to help others do the same thing. Thank you for being appreciative. (Did I make you blush again?)
Fish Out of Water at http://sincerelyslapdash.wordpress.com/. They’ve only just met me, and they still miss me after just one day. This is my type of person. Thanks for coming around.
Lesley Carter at http://lesleycarter.wordpress.com/. (Bucket List Publications) When I read her blog I get to see what it’s like to do all sorts of crazy, adventurous things. When she reads mine she gets to see what it’s like to sit on the couch and write. Seems like a good trade-off to me.
Mari Sanchez Cayuso at http://starsrainsunmoon.com/2012/07/14/mushy-lady/. I hate to say this but I don’t understand sometimes. I really, really like it, but I just don’t get it. I guess I know that it’s good because it feels good.
Iagosghost at http://iagosghost.wordpress.com/. He’s new to the whole blogging thing, at least to himself doing it. (His wife is my top commentor, Marvelous Pigs. See above.) Check him out, you won’t regret it.
Free Penny Press at http://freepennypress.wordpress.com/. She encompasses all that is art. If you happen to see a little ‘Zine of poetry, or a random sculpture sitting around, you can bet she might have been behind it. Not to mention she shares a name with my mom, “E” and all.
Lily at http://lilyincanada.wordpress.com/. If you want funny, or something that is a little cray cray, I would suggest taking a peep at this blog. I’ve learned under good authority that she has a pretty cool mom too.
Well, I think that does it for this one. I kind of followed the rules (Sorry Mo Jo) but they are all for sure bent all to heck. One rule I did break is not going over 800 words. Sorry about that. I guess I just got carried away. Please enjoy these as I have. And just because I didn’t mention you doesn’t meant that I don’t like or appreciate your blog. All it means is that it’s late and I got some sleeping to do.
In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. ~ 1 Thessalonians 5: 18
And he who receiveth all things with thankfulness shall be made glorious; and the things of this earth shall be added unto him, even an hundred fold, yea, more. ~ Doctrine and Covenants 78: 19

Thank you Jon! Now I feel like I really hafta raise the bar. You know, maybe write a post occasionally! Really tho, I enjoy reading your stuff. The quirks appeal to me on so many levels
. Oh yeah, I read Lesley Carter too. I gotta admit, I’m a lil envious of her. Good grief she does EVERYTHING!
Yes, when you’re scared of heights and such it’s nice to live through someone else. Thanks!!
You are way too sweet and kind, Mister!
Thank you from the bottom of my little, black heart. ♥
*squishy, squashy hugs*
Veggiewitch ♥
Well, thank you.
Brother Jon,
No blushing, just a happy smile. It’s good to know that angst fuels happiness, especially for others. So, the sort of bent & crooked rules are answer the 21 questions & nominate how many others? And do it in less than 800 words? I’ll see what I can do.
Thank you so much for sharing the journey & spreading the love.
Blessings,
Kina
No problem, I would suggest doing whatever you want. That’s what I did, but the way you described will probably work just fine.
Brother Jon,
That is a great list, and congrats too! Auntie Sandee has a very generous soul, and she will be proud to call you her nephew.
Le Clown
Thanks, and Thanks. It wasn’t that hard to come up with. The next one I do, that might be hard, unless…..maybe I can just reblog this post when that time comes.
That’s good. You can never have too many Aunts.
Mwa!
Jon!! I’m so flattered and humbled to be on this list of great bloggers. I’m feeling the love. I enjoy your blog, equally. You’re always coming from a good place and it comes across.
Much thanks for thinking of me!
No problem. I’m still trying to think of great Movie Houses. I’m a design engineer so that is right up my alley.
You are too too kind Brother Jon! Call me Auntie Sandee, anytime! Thanks for buying my book — I hope you enjoy it — there’s a lot of drunk in it. Congratulations on all the awards and I thank you for nominating me. Enjoy your day!
Wow — that’s funny — I realized in my post when I talk about knowing all the purchasers of my book — I mention the name John! Though yours is spelled differently — maybe this is my esp working on some level again…
It’s got to be supernatural.
Thank you, thank you kind sir and enjoyed your random facts too!!!
Awards are so nice because it means at least one other person reads & appreciates your blog
Sincerely,
Lynne with an “E”
No problem, and thank you.
Thank you very much, Brother Jon!!! I am very happy to be in such good company. Also, I like your answers to the 21 questions. I’m right there with you on the guilty pleasures except I prefer Pepsi to Coke.
Yeah, I used to think that too. I would save Coke for my drinkin’ and have Pepsi by itself. Now when I “go out” or DD I still like to order the coke. Makes me feel like I’m still fitting in.
Aww thanks Jon! Thats so nice! I’m excited to do this! It’s weird how similar we are! I would’ve answered the same thing for most of the questions. Except I might be a little superstitious.
Yeah, no problem. I probably am more superstitious than I let on, I just don’t like admitting it. I think there is a different word for it, but not sure what that is.
Thanks for the awards! I especially like things with the words “sparkly” and “beautiful” in them so they were perfect. And thanks for writing such a great blog. I really enjoy reading it and many of your posts are thought-provoking, which I love because I like to think about stuff.
Thanks, and no problem. I like thinking about stuff too. Yours is a great blog. I enjoy it very much.
Way to follow the rules. I haven’t really followed the rules on these, so way to put me to shame. Seriously, though, what kind of sandwich did you eat today? –
Thanks, I did not have the pleasure of eating a sandwich. If I had, it would have been a turkey and cheese. Thanks for asking!

Thanks, Jon! I’m honored. Let me know what the rules are so I can do this right.
You bent the rules like a champ. I love it!!!
